Like most businesses in Perth we had to endure a break to our program and close the centre down for 8 weeks, which in turn closed down our income. As we are an animal based industry our expenses remained the same, we still had to feed our horses and take care of them. We applied for and have been lucky enough to receive a “Resilient Organisations Grant” through Lotterywest and the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries. This will enable us to cover our running costs for the time we were closed and keep our horses happy and well cared for.
