Our gem of a volunteer Sue Sparkes is our ‘Volunteer of the Month’ for May!

“I have a Cert 3 and 4 in Disability Support and was first introduced to CTRC through Local Area Coordination who sent me to take a client who had an interest in horses to CTRC – that was 20 years ago and I have been here ever since!!

My experience with CTRC is that it is a beautiful shared supportive community which actively includes people with all disabilities and the people who bring them. I am always learning something new. The learning, communication and social acceptance is reflective of the people who manage CTRC and I enjoy every minute when I’m there. So does my health (so the fitbit watch tells me!)”

This wonderful lady is a real treasure at the CTRC and we are so thankful for her volunteering for people in need!
