Help us create a new CTRC
Since 1972 we have been fortunate enough to lease a portion of the Graylands Hospital site and during this time we have slowly added infrastructure to the current site. Our current lease expires at the end of 2024 and as you may have seen in recent media releases the WA Government has announced a redevelopment at the Graylands Hospital site to expand mental health services there and this announcement means that we must relocate from our current site.
We have been working collaboratively with the Graylands Reconfiguration & Forensic Taskforce and the Department of Health to find a new site that meets our needs in the vicinity. Thanks to the Taskforce we have now secured a site just over the road at 9 John XXIII Avenue, Mt Claremont.
We are currently working through all of the planning required for our relocation including the final design for our new site, the probable timeline and how we can ensure there is minimal disruption to our operations.
This relocation is an exiting opportunity and will mark a new and evolving chapter for our organisation with us having the opportunity to design fit for purpose facilities for horses, staff, clients, carers and friends alike that will carry our service well into the future.
As you can imagine to complete this move by the end of our lease is no small feat and as a registered charity that in the past has relied upon the generosity of donations from our supporters both large and small to complete upgrades or purchase equipment for our current site we now turn to you again for support.
Our relocation is currently estimated to cost $4 million and as such we are reaching out to all our supporters large and small to join us on this exciting journey and help us create a new CTRC that will continue to provide services the community services that we have done for 50 years and will grow into the future in this new facility.
All donations are tax deductible and we are most happy to talk to you in regards to any amounts that may wish to contribute not listed in this form or if you have any questions please contact Jacqui our CEO on 0417124352.
Yours Sincerely,
Xander van Buesekom
President CTRC Board
